The Associate of Arts Degree in economics exposes students to the political, economic, sociological and technological forces that impact global economies. Featured extensively in the program are statistical data and calculus. The program is not an end in itself, but serves as the foundation for the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and to a greater extent, the Master of Arts in Economics. The program can be successfully completed in 2-2 ½ years. Graduates of the program would have the skill sets to take on meaningful entry level positions in marketing, sales and research oriented industries. Opportunities for employment are available in both the private and public sectors.
